Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi follows the life of Ami, a 14-year-old girl whose father has passed away. Shruti, her mother, was compelled to fulfil the roles of both a parent and a child. Sanjay, a family friend of Shruti, expresses his desire to wed her after falling in love with her. Initially refusing, Shruti eventually agrees to marry him under familial pressure. The show then focuses on the struggles of a mother raising her child without her biological father and her journey to becoming the best mother and wife to her daughter and new husband.
