Jamtara is a Hindi cyber-crime drama series from India. Jamtara - Sabka Number Ayega was conceived and directed by Soumendra Padhi and written by Trishant Srivastava.

The social engineering operations in Jharkhand's Jamtara area are the focus of the narrative. On January 10, 2020, Netflix made it available.

Jamtara is the tale of a group of young, impulsive, ambitious people who had the world at their feet. Sunny and Rocky, who are cousins and the scam's masterminds, operate a highly effective phishing scheme covertly out of the village of Jamtara with the help of their pals. When the village becomes well-known due to a news story about the scam, everything comes to a screeching halt as everyone decides they want in on the action.

The story then follows a dishonest politician who wants to join their scheme while a cop tries to stop it and end it for good.

In a recent interview director Soumendra Padhi revealed that Jamtara hasn't been shot in Jamtara, despite the fact that the Jharkhand village is responsible for its creation. It was reconstructed a little more than three hours away from Mumbai, the centre of Bollywood, in the Maharashtra city of Nashik. According to Padhi, the production designers accurately replicated the geography to make it feel as authentic as possible.

This 2020 Indian crime drama series received an IMDB rating of 7.2 out of 10.
