Gangaajal is a Hindi action crime movie directed by Prakash Jha and starring Ajay Devgn.

The story follows SP Amit Kumar who is In charge of the Tezpur police station in Bihar. With the assistance of the local police, the area is rife with crime, corruption, inefficiency, bribery, nepotism, and favoritism. Amit gradually comes to understand that Sadhu Yadav, a local politician, stands to gain the most from it. Sadhu's son Sunder Yadav is detained by Amit. While Sunder is soon released, some police officials become angry with the system and blind two of Yadav's men by pouring acid into their eyes. The media makes a big deal out of it, crime pretty much completely ceases, and people respect the cops. Now, SP Amit Kumar needs to put a stop to this kind of thing.

Gangaajal got an official IMDB rating of 7.8 out of 10. The film ended up earning 166.7 million rupees in total at the Box Office.
