Suman and Shravan, who are complete opposites yet are brought together by fate, are the central characters of this novel. At the army boot camp, they cross paths. Suman is a proponent of a disciplined lifestyle, but Shravan is a freewheeling young man. His father forces him to enlist in the military. 

The drama takes place in Bhopal. The NCC cadets' love tale soon gets underway. When a difficult event puts their relationship to the test, they fall in love but break up. To demonstrate that they deserve one another, they must pass a number of exams.

Teenager Shravan Malhotra, a rebellious citizen, is sent to the Army School to learn discipline. There, he meets Suman Tiwari, who at first finds him annoying.
