Raju Sawant and Amit Sawardekar are  the directors and the producer of the Indian movie Dev Manus is Shweta Shinde and Sanjay Khambe.The main Dev Manus casts include, Kiran Gaikwad as Dr. Ajitkumar Chandrakant Dev / Devisingh and Asmita Deshmukh as Sagarika Babu Patil a.k.a. Dimple and also Pratiksha Jadhav and Anjali Joglekar.

Devmanus is said to be based on a true story. Santosh Pol was referred to as a terrible doctor who, during the 13 years of his practice in the town of Satara, killed six people.

The story follows Devi Singh as a Compounder at a clinic where the doctor fires him for extorting money from clients while posing as a doctor. He takes a passenger with him to a remote location, where he robs him after giving him drugs that cause his death. Babu and Mangal have a blind mother, a son, and a daughter named Dimple who aspires to be an actress; their home is in debt and may go into foreclosure. Devi Singh arrives at their home with the intention of borrowing space from them to operate a clinic under the name Dr. Ajit Kumar Dev. As his generosity prevents the mortgage on their home from being taken out, Babu and his family begin to worship him as a deity. 

Although everyone in the community begins to regard Ajit as a god as his patient list grows and he begins to make a lot of money, Ajit is actually a serial killer. The serial is based on actual occurrences involving an Indian state's Maharashtra serial killer doctor.
