Arunabh Kumar and The Viral Fever developed the Hindi-language web series College Romance. Keshav Sadhna, Apoorva Arora, Manjot Singh, Gagan Arora, and Shreya Mehta are among the main cast members. The story follows Karan, Naira, and Trippy, who are best friends since their school days and are looking for love, laughs, and some lifelong memories.

The first season of Simarpreet Singh's College Romance debuted on 7 August 2018 concurrently on YouTube and TVF Play, the company's media streaming platforms, and it was well-received by viewers. Following the first season's popularity, the producers decided to renew for a second, which was led by Apoorv Singh Karki and debuted on Sony LIV on January 29, 2021.

Season 3 premiered on 15 September 2022 on Sony LIV and has 5 episodes in it, bringing the total to 15 episodes for the series. College Romance was shot in Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad and the series has ended with a cliffhanger, indicating that the gang is set to return for a fourth season.
