Chori Chori Chupke Chupke is a Hindi movie about a married couple who use a young prostitute as a surrogate mother, caused controversy when it was released because it addressed the taboo subject of surrogate births in India.

The movie Chori Chori Chupke Chupke tells the story of a prostitute Madhu who pledges to become pregnant for a million rupees, and then gives the child to Raj and Priya. When she starts feeling things for Raj and the baby, everything changes.

As it was one of the few Hindi-language movies to address both prostitution and the taboo topic of surrogate births in India, the movie sparked substantial debate both before and after its premiere.  Author Aditya Bharadwaj said that the movie makes a comparison between prostitution and surrogacy by depicting sexual activity as the means of surrogacy rather than artificial insemination.
