Chhorii is a melancholy tale of a young couple living in rural India. When the couple is forcibly evicted from their home and seeks refuge in a house hidden inside a sugarcane field, Sakshi (Nushrratt Bharuccha) is eight months pregnant. The mother and her unborn child are at risk because the fields are full of past secrets that begin to surface as the movie progresses. Sakshi's attempts to save herself and her unborn child are hampered by the appearance of three enigmatic children, a burned woman, and a soul-stirring lullaby coming from an old transistor.

Chhorii received an IMDB rating of 6.8 out of 10. Audiences gave it mixed reviews, complimenting Nusrat Bharucha's acting but criticizing the frightening parts, while reviewers generally gave it unfavorable reviews.
