Bose: Dead or Alive is a Hindi Historic Drama series about the conspiracy of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Being Alive. It is based on the book ‘India’s Biggest Cover-Up’ by popular activist Anuj Dhar.

Bose: Dead or Alive was released in the year 2017 on the 20th of November. Bose: Dead or Alive is also available on OTT platforms like ALTBalaji. The series is as long as 9 episodes whit each episode being 22-29 minutes long. 

Pulkit is the director of the series and the producer of the Indian series Bose: Dead or Alive Ekta Kapoor. The main Bose: Dead or Alive casts include Rajkummar Rao, Naveen Kasturia, Edward Sonnenblick, Anna Ador, Alexx O'Nell, and Mir Sarwar.

The show's premise is set in the year 1945 when overloaded Japanese aircraft crashed on August 18, in Japanese-occupied Formosa (now Taiwan), Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose (Rajkumar Rao) is thought to have perished. However, Mahatma Gandhi sends a telegraph to his family in Kolkata asking them not to hold his funeral. It then starts with rumours of his demise and those of other characters who speculate on how he has previously disappeared as well, with everyone speculating on his potential reappearance.

In the series, Bose: Dead or Alive Rajkumar Rao in order to portray Subhash Chandra Bose in this web series chose to have his head shaven rather than wear a bald wig because it appeared fake.

The series received an IMDB rating of 8.7 out of 10.
