The protagonist of the story is Bhaskar (Eijaz Khan), the head editor of Men's Universe, a new men's publication. Bhaskar is a handsome and dapper man. Despite being extremely well-liked by women, he frequently enters and exits relationships because he rejects the idea of love. 

Eventually, he is cursed to turn into a woman by one of his girlfriends (whom he had pledged to marry) in order for him to feel the suffering and agony he has caused her and other women. The curse is fulfilled that night, and Bhaskar changes into a woman (portrayed by Ragini Khanna).

Bewildered by this sudden change, he tries in vain to turn himself back into a man. He soon realizes that he has no choice but to continue his daily life as a woman until the curse can be reversed.
