Hoga Bbuddah In his second Hindi film following Shart: The Challenge, Puri Jagannadh wrote and directed the action comedy Terra Baap in 2011. In addition to Sonal Chauhan, Charmy Kaur, Rajeev Verma, Subbaraju, Makrand Deshpande, and Raveena Tandon playing supporting roles, the movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Ajaz Khan ,Sonu Sood, and Prakash Raj in the key roles. Vishal-Shekhar composed the soundtrack for the movie, which also included Amol Rathod's photography and S. R. Shekhar's editing. The movie premiered on July 1, 2011, to favourable reviews from critics.

ACP Karan has vowed to get rid of every thug in Mumbai within the next two months. Instead, gangster Kabir Bhai chooses to kill Karan. Vijju, a hitman who refuses to accept that he is getting older, enters the scene and makes his way back to Mumbai after a protracted exile in Paris, France, to do one more job. Tanya is an old college friend of Karan's, and while the gangsters and Vijju are trying to bring Karan down, Tanya's friend Amrita is trying to figure out how Vijju and her mother are related because she thinks they must have had an affair in the past because of her mother's overly friendly behaviour toward Vijju.

Later, Vijju admits that he is not the hired assassin and is instead just defending his son, ACP Karan. Vijju was a gangster, and because of his rowdiness, he lost Sita, his wife, and his kid Karan. Karan also had no idea who his father was because his mother never told him. Additionally, he admits that he didn't sleep with Amrita's mother. While Karan ultimately wins over Tanya and her strict father, Vijju sees his estranged wife Sita but is unable to mend their marriage. Vijju's attempts to stop Tedha from coming to the scene of the shooting are unsuccessful as he makes another attempt and succeeds in pumping some bullets into Karan.

After that, a hurt and furious Vijju visits Kabir's den and admits Karan to a hospital. Vijju informs that Karan is alive and that the den is being surrounded by police after delivering a brief narrative and explaining three morals. He does this by accusing Tedha of being an undercover police officer. Following a furious shootout, all of the confused gangsters at the den are killed by Vijju, with the exception of Kabir and his assistant Mac, who helped Vijju connect with the underworld don. Kabir, who believes Tedha was lying, kills him. Kabir is astonished to learn that Tedha wasn't an undercover officer and that Vijju is Karan's father. Vijju shoots him in the head, but Mac is unharmed.

At the hospital, Vijju reconciles with his wife after realising that he is getting older and asks her to decide whether he should tell Karan who he really is. She prevents him from doing so though, so he makes the decision to return to Paris and instructs his wife Sita to bring Karan along when she's ready.
