1962: The War In The Hills is a fictitious account of one of the bloodiest conflicts ever fought, yet it was inspired by actual events. The battle between 124 Indian soldiers of an Indian army battalion's "C Company" and 3000 Chinese soldiers, led by Major Suraj Singh, who is from the village of Rewari, is also a story about their individual struggles, their lives outside of their uniforms, and their moments of love, heartbreak, longing, and celebration. 

They unite on the toughest battlefield and defend a critical pass that prevented the invading army from seizing control of a key airstrip. They fight until the very end to defend Ladakh, which was truly national territory.
