About The Brand

Whimsy is a unique makeup brand which is designed specifically for children. It was founded to ensure that growing girls could have access to makeup products that would not be harsh on their skin. They have a wide catalogue of products such as lip gloss, eye glitter and more.

Brand Objective

The brand wanted to use a celebrity in their advertisement but found it difficult to find a popular child actor who would represent the category and resonate with the larger public. They approached Tring, India’s largest celebrity management agency for a solution. We suggested they do an advertisement with Tannaz Irani, who is popular with millenials and her daughter.

Requirements

While Whimsy initially wanted a child actor for their marketing campaign, finding the right fit when it came to a child actor was a bit difficult for them as mentioned above. Upon our advice they decided to go with Tannaz Irani and her daughter, Zianne, which resulted in a more effective, parent-oriented ad.
