Sony Pal Channel Details

On September 1, 2014, the Indian pay channel Sony Pal debuted with Juhi Chawla serving as its spokesperson. The owner of the track is Culver Max Entertainment. In the USA, Sling TV and Dish Network both offer the channel.

In order to compete with popular Hindi GECs like Star Plus, ZEE TV, and Colors, whose core TG is likewise female-focused, the channel mostly ran reality series that focused on women.

In comparison to other channels like Life OK, Star Plus, Sony Pal, and Colors TV, the channel's early viewership share were 11,000 viewers. As a result, the channel stopped operating on February 13, 2015, and began airing reruns of Sony TV and Sony SAB programs.

Following a rebranding, the channel began airing previous SET and Sony SAB series such as Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, CID, and Baalveer as free-to-air TV channels. By 2016, Sony Pal had a respectable viewer share.

An Indian sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is based on Taarak Mehta's weekly Duniya Ne Undha Chasma column in Chitralekha magazine. Asit Kumar Modi is the producer of it. It debuted on July 28, 2008, and is currently broadcast on Sony SAB and Sony Pal. SonyLIV also offers it digitally. The program has the Guinness World Record for being the longest-running Indian daily sitcom on television based on the number of episodes. CID Overview

B. P. Singh developed the Indian police procedural television program CID for Sony Entertainment Television India. Shivaji Satam plays ACP Pradyuman in the show. In contrast, Aditya Srivastava plays Sr. Inspector Abhijeet, Dayanand Shetty portrays Sr. Inspector Daya, Dinesh Phadnis plays Inspector Fredricks, also known as Freddy, and Narendra Gupta plays Dr. Salunkhe, a forensic specialist. The longest-running television show in India, the series debuted on January 21, 1998. Sony TV carried the show for 20 years. Sajan Re Phir Jhoot Mat Bolo Overview

During the period 23 May 2017 to 14 September 2018, Sajan Re Phir Jhoot Mat Bolo, an Indian sitcom, was aired on SAB TV. Hussain Kuwajerwala, Parvati Vaze, Tiku Talsania, and Sharad Ponkshe are among the cast members of this Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo sequel. The 340 episodes of the show came to an end on September 14th, 2018. Later it started airing on Sony Pal on June 18, 2018. Tenali Rama

Tenali Rama is a historical comedy-drama produced in India's Hindi language and is based on the life of the renowned Telugu poet Tenali Ramakrishna, who served as one of the Ashtadiggajas at the court of Vijayanagara monarch Krishnadevaraya (C.E. 1509–1529), who is frequently referred to as the greatest Vijayanagara ruler. The show debuted on Sony SAB on July 11, 2017; it ended on November 13, 2020, and was later broadcasted on Sony Pal. Jeannie Aur Jiju

An Indian fantasy sitcom Jeannie Aur Juju ran on SAB TV before being shown on Monday through Friday nights on Sony Pal. It began on November 5, 2012, and concluded on June 6, 2014. The American sitcom I Dream of Jeannie served as inspiration. After the latter's departure, Pilot Ali Asgar, who took over for Giaa Manek, finds a 2000-year-old genie in the film.
