Top 12 New Movies Releasing in December 2022

RRR, K.G.F. Chapter 2, Godfather, Ponniyin Selvan 1, Vikram, Brahmastra, The Kashmire Files, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Doctor G, and many other blockbuster successes have emerged in 2022. Hollywood has also produced numerous blockbuster hits, including The Batman, Everything Everywhere All at Once, Elvis, Black Panther Wakanda Forever, and Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to the 1980s blockbuster smash and legendary film Top Gun.

The year 2022 is ending, but there's no need to tear up because the year is going out with a bang, with new movies in its last month.

Qala:

Babil Khan, Irrfan Khan's son, will make his acting debut in the new movie Qala. He'll appear alongside Triptii Dimri, Guru Haryani, Swastika Mukherjee, and Neer Raao. The movie will be released on the Netflix streaming platform on December 1st.

Gold:

Gold, a Malayalam mystery film starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, will be released on December 1st. Alphonse Puthren is the director and writer of the movie. Along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Nayanthara (Diana Mariam Kurian) plays a leading role. Gold was planned to be released in 2021, but because of some issues, the release date was pushed back to December 2022.

An Action Hero:

After the widely praised Doctor G, Ayushmann Khurrana returns with his new movie, An Action Hero. Because of Ayushmann's history of having an unusual and distinctive taste in movies, An Action Hero differs from the ordinary popular action movie formula. The movie An Action Hero will be released on December 2nd.

Freddy:

Following the massive success of Bhool Bhulaya 2, Kartik Aaryan makes a comeback with the romantic thriller Freddy. Your jaw will drop at the twists and turns in Kartik Aaryan's new movie, which is about a love that develops into an addiction. Alaya F. also appears in the film. Freddy will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on December 2nd.

India Lockdown:

The film features an all-star cast that includes Shweta Basu Prasad, Prateik Babbar, Sai Tamhankar, Aahana Kumra, and Gopal K. Singh, among others. As the title suggests, the movie is based on actual events that took place during the Covid-19 Pandemic. India Lockdown will be released on Zee 5 on December 2nd.

Blurr:

Blurr, Taapsee Pannu's new movie, is a thriller with elements of horror. Taapsee plays the role of Gayatri. Gayatri starts to question her reality as she looks for the truth about her twin sister's death. The movie is set to be released on Zee 5 on December 9th. Blurr is an approved Indian remake of Julia's Eyes, a Spanish film. Gulshan Devaiah and Kruttika Desai are also acting in the movie.

Salaam Venky:

Salaam Venky, an Indian drama film starring Kajol, tells the true tale of a mother's bond and journey with her son who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy (a genetic disorder of muscle degeneration). Kajol's new movie is set to release on December 9th. Along with many top Bollywood actors, Aamir Khan is also featured in Salaam Venky with a guest appearance.

Pippa:

Pippa is the story of Balram Singh Mehta, a soldier who fought alongside his siblings in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. Ishaan Khatter plays the role of Balram Singh. Pippa also includes Mrunal Thakur, Soni Razdan, and Priyanshu Painyuli. The release date of Pippa is December 9th 2022.

Govinda Naam Mera:

Kiara Advani and Vicky Kaushal's new movie Govinda Naam Mera is a romance/comedy/drama about Govinda Waghmare (Vicky Kaushal), who struggles to keep a balance between his marriage to Gauri Waghmare (Bhumi Pednekar) and his extramarital relationship with Suku (Kiara Advani). It is one of the most awaited movies of 2022. Govinda Naam Mera will be released on December 16th.

Cirkus:

Cirkus, a new movie from Rohit Shetty, is an official remake of the 1982 Hindi film Angoor. In the movie, Ranveer Singh plays two roles. Cirkus also stars Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez in addition to Ranveer. Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone will both make cameo appearances in the film. December 23rd marks the release of Cirkus.

Ganapath:

Along with Cirkus, Tiger Shroff's new movie Ganapath will also be released in theatres on December 23rd. In addition to Tiger, Kriti Sanon appears in the movie, and Amitabh Bachchan makes a lengthy cameo. 

Avatar: The Way of Water:

Along with these Indian films, Avatar: The Way of Water, the sequel to one of the top-grossing films ever, is also returning. Because he wanted the best technology to elevate the work to its highest level, James Cameron, a dedicated artist, waited 13 years before releasing the science fiction movie's sequel.
