As the first Weekend Ka Vaar of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 approached a tipping point with heated confrontations, charges of rumour-mongering and discrimination, and the expulsion of a competitor, the host Salman Khan was forced to take matters into his own hands. On Saturday and Sunday, you were able to watch episodes of this show on the Jio Cinema app. Here are the seven best moments from those episodes.
After Puneet Kumar was booted from Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 a week ago, Palak Purswani was the only other competitor to be booted from the competition, and her emotional breakdown caused her to break down in tears. She had arrived at the Big Brother house a day after the other participants, along with Akanksha Puri. She frequently butted heads with her ex-boyfriend Avinash Sachdev and was able to reignite her friendship with Jiya Shankar during her limited time spent inside the Bigg Boss house. Her time there was filled with turmoil.
Manish Paul, a former TV presenter who has since transitioned into acting, entered the Bigg Boss house in order to promote his online series Rafuchakkar. He gave the candidates plenty of opportunities to make fun of themselves by asking them to assign film titles to each other as part of the competition. The name Kaamchori Mera Naam was bestowed upon Cyrus Broacha by Falaq because of his propensity for sloth, and Jad Hadid bestowed the name I, Me, Myself upon Jiya with the implication that she is incessantly looking for attention. Aaliya Siddiqui said Bebika Dhurve merited the term Nautanki Mera Naam
The name Mai Jhooti Mai Makkaar was conceived of by Manisha Rani and bestowed upon Akanksha. Abhishek Malhan couldn't help himself; he referred to Pooja Bhatt and Cyrus as Nakli Rani Sasta Raja because of their authoritative demeanour. Mujhe Gandh Pasand Hai was Bebika's preferred moniker for Abhishek due to the latter's controlling and violent behavior.
Salman let the housemates know that some people thought Pooja was unfairly treating some of them. He solicited feedback from the group on the issue at hand. Palak quickly spoke out, claiming that Pooja had formed an opinion of her beforehand. But Manisha jumped to Pooja's defence, saying that she is a decent person at heart.
In a confrontation with Akanksha, Salman accused her of fabricating a story in the house. He did not spare the participant for her shenanigans and went on to criticise her for claiming to know about Bebika's health when she was not a doctor. He also corrected her for making the roommates uncertain about her feelings toward Jad.
During the episode of Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman also discussed the inappropriate behaviour of numerous competitors. He reprimanded Aaliya for bringing up her personal life, stressing the significance of separating one's home and work lives. In addition, he criticised Abhishek for getting into a dispute with Bebika. He questioned Palak's assertion that she enjoys maintaining a clean home by asking why she never complained about the unsanitary conditions in the dressing room.
Since Bebika was up for eviction and it was possible that today would be her last day in the Bigg Boss house, Salman decided to throw her a birthday party a day early. He had Bebika slice the cake and then distribute one slice to each competitor. But before she can serve the cake, she has to publicly shame each flatmate for one bad habit.
Krushna Abhishek, an actor, and comedian, visited the Bigg Boss house on Sunday and revealed the existence of a hidden area he called BB Verse. In this unique space, he collaborated on a fun activity with Cyrus and Jad. The Dubai-based model was tasked with reading fan feedback while Cyrus dined on some of his favorites. Cyrus would have to forego his dinner if Jad made an error while reading. Krushna also shared that there would be weekly surprises and twists in the Big Brother Verse mansion.
