The current Anupama episode, which airs on December 13th, 2022, begins with Anuj genuinely questioning Pakhi about her willingness to descend into foolishness and let her relationship with Adhik worsen over time. Anuj's query moves Pakhi, and she prepares to meet Adhik and make amends. However, as Pakhi returns to Kapadia House, she notices Dimpy chatting and grinning with Adhik. While Dimple attempts to make Adhik laugh and encourage him to forget his argument with Pakhi and appease her heart, Pakhi sees them together through the window and misinterprets their presence. 

Anupama gets upset as she munches on a chocolate bar by herself. Vanraj, who asserts that Anuj went to meet Pakhi outside in a cafe, interrupts her time alone. Anupama is horrified when Vanraj tells her and her beloved husband to keep Pakhi because Anuj came to talk to Pakhi as Adhik's uncle and not as her friend. Anupama becomes irate and tells Vanraj to behave himself, but Vanraj's point is that she and Anuj should avoid Pakhi because he is willing to assume all responsibility for Pakhi.

Taunting Vanraj that only he and his lovely daughter are the most innocent in the world, Anupama states that she has no liking for meddling in their life, but they aren't able to handle their lives and draw everyone into their drama. Later, Little Anu informs Anuj that Anupama forgot to fill out her picnic form, and Anuj encourages her not to be angry as she is a little anxious. After some time, Anupama returns home with trembling hands while sipping water after purchasing veggies. Anupama lashes out at Anuj, asking why he visited Pakhi after recognising her condition and inquires about how she is feeling.

Anuj becomes perplexed and informs Anupama that he went to explain things to her since he cannot witness his wife, Anu, under extreme stress because he knows how stress eating is affecting her health. Anupama stutters and tells Anuj that she should handle issues about the Shah Household, not him. She expresses her dislike for Vanraj or Pakhi talking disparagingly about him, but Anuj doesn't give a damn and reaffirms to Anupama that they work as a team. Anuj claims that Anupama is lashing out at him because Vanraj mistreated her, but Anupama cannot comprehend what he is saying. 

Anuj pauses and warns Anupama that no matter how often she tries to improve the Shah family's quality of life, they will continue to hold her responsible for all of their issues. Anuj claims that she is fighting alongside him rather than against them. Anupama becomes quiet and apologises for neglecting her responsibilities despite her best efforts to be the ideal wife and mother. She then connects her hands. Anupama argues that she and Vanraj are responsible for improving a rude Pakhi, and she doesn't want Anuj to interfere with that. However, Anuj gently reminds her that moms shouldn't attempt to become deities. When Anuj asks her if she has signed Little Anu's form, which he had earlier requested, Anupama tries to persuade him that she can handle and manage things independently.
